Peter Mateja graduated from the Law Faculty of Matej Bel University and from the University of Economics in Bratislava in 2006. He also graduated from the University of London in 2010.

Peter joined Kadlubiec, Starzyk a partneri in 2009. Prior to this, he worked for a leading international law firm and for PricewaterhouseCoopers as Tax Consultant. During his previous practice, Peter has been involved in legal and tax advisory to major foreign companies in the field of telecommunications, technologies, banking as well as automotive, electronics, steel and construction industry.

Peter Mateja specializes in the area of intellectual property, data protection, advertising, information technology law and software law. He also advises clients on employment, contracts, financial and corporate law issues.

advisory to several American banks concerning Slovak bank regulation
long-term successful advisory to the Slovak branch of world-famous post concern particularly involving the provision of hybrid mail in Slovakia
participation in several due dilligences in leading Slovak IT and production companies
advisory to several clients in legal questions concerning domain names, cybersquatting and trademarks on the Internet.
